Tamar Khulordava: Venice Commission experts once again underline that the Constitutional changes serve for development and enhancement of the Constitutional arrangement of the country

On March 16, the Venice Commission is to submit the final opinion about the Constitutional changes.

The 114th sitting to be held in Venice will be attended by the Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Tamar Khulordava.

Tomorrow, the Venice Commission considers and adopts the final opinion about the Constitutional changes of Georgia. The Venice Commission experts once again underline that the Constitutional changes serve for development and enhancement of the Constitutional arrangement of the country and that the Constitutional reform completes the Parliamentary democracy formation in Georgia. The Speaker of Georgian Parliament has initially stated that the Parliament would share all principal recommendations of the Venice Commission. The promise is fulfilled. After the Parliament votes for the III reading the Constitutional changes in the next week, Georgia will have the new Constitution in full compliance with the fundamental Constitutional principles and the best traditions of European Parliamentary democracy”, - T. Khulordava stated.
