Irakli Kobakhidze: European Commission gives high estimation to the Constitutional reform

“It is particularly noteworthy that the Constitutional reform was positively estimated. It was underlined that the reform was based on the principles, such are: democracy, fair state and respect to human rights. It is the highest estimation”, - the Speaker echoed the report by the EC on EUAA implementation by Georgia.

“We are glad to see the positive report by EU emphasizing various directions and mentioning the progress of Georgia in democratic and economic development. It is particularly noteworthy that the Constitutional reform was positively estimated. It was underlined that the reform was based on the principles, such are: democracy, fair state and respect to human rights. It is the highest estimation which we received due to the highest quality document – the Constitution ensuring long-term democratic development of the country and preventing any threat of autocracy in long term run”.
