Irakli Kobakhidze: Venice Commission opinion is absolutely positive recognizing the greatest progress Georgian Parliament achieved in terms of Constitutional reforming

“Venice Commission has finally endorsed the final opinion about the Constitutional changes and the opinion is positive. 

We have preliminarily discussed the document sent by Venice Commission a week earlier and the final opinion complies with the preliminary one. The document is absolutely positive recognizing the greatest progress Georgian Parliament achieved in terms of Constitutional reforming. Besides, many statements have been today made by the Venice Commission President and experts participating in development of the opinion regarding the Constitutional reform and they gave highly positive estimation to the Constitutional changes noting that the changes ensure irreversibility of democratic development in Georgia”.
