“As it seems, the President will not facilitate to realization of the agreement with Venice Commission. However, it will be ensured with our initiative. We can introduce respective changes till March”, - the Speaker stated.  

He elucidated that the discussion regarding the Constitution has already been accomplished. He underlined that the draft Constitutional Law will reflect two issues regarding which the agreement has been achieved with Venice Commission.

“As to the Constitution, we have accomplished the discussions and as to the veto, we have made a certain offer - we have achieved agreement with Venice Commission regarding two issues to be reflected in the Constitution – it is the bonus withdrawal and annulment of the blocs. We offered the President pursuant to the agreement with Venice Commission to realize his veto, though as it seems, the President will abstain from veto and will not facilitate to realization of the agreement with Venice Commission. However, it will be ensured with our initiative. We can introduce respective changes till March”.

As to the veto, if it concerns hereof two issues, it will be shared. “If the veto concerns two issues we have discussed with Venice Commission, naturally the veto will be shared, though if it concerns the Constitution developed by the President with 20 parties, we cannot share the Constitution developed in 3 days. Correspondingly, the changes will remain valid we have approved”.
