Irakli Kobakhidze: we will wait for the offers from the opposition and will make the respective decision which of the offers shall be reflected in the Constitution

“We will wait for the offers from the opposition and will make the respective decision which of the offers shall be reflected in the Constitution”, - the Speaker stated regarding the consultations between the ruling team and the political parties. 

The ruling team has already reflected their offers in the document and now the opposition is to submit their proposals.

“We had our offers and reflected them in the document. We have clearly expressed our position. Hence, now it is up to the opposition to submit their proposals. We will wait for the offers from the opposition and will make the respective decision which of the offers shall be reflected in the Constitution. The offers may be more than one and we will attentively consider each of them”.

According to the Speaker, 3 months are left till the III reading, which is enough for the consultations. “We will make the decisions in this format concerning the issues that may be achieved consensus on”.
