Irakli Kobakhidze: we have absolute coordination between me and the Prime Minister regarding the Constitutional reforms

According to the Speaker, the ruling team is committed to start the consultations with the blank sheet. The only issue to be revised is certain aspects being the fundament of the consensus within the ruling team. 

“First of all, the Parliamentary Majority and the Government achieved full consensus. We have absolute coordination between me and the Prime Minister regarding the Constitutional reforms and we share the positions and approaches regarding this issue.

The approach envisages that we expect the offers from the opposition. These offers can concern various issues. We will attach high attention to each of them. The consultations may concern any issue.

We are ready to start from the blank sheet. However, there are some issues which were the fundament of the consensus within the ruling team and they cannot be subject to revision”.
