Irakli Kobakhidze: for four months the President abstained from involvement of the activity of the State Constitutional Commission, under hereof conditions any conversations about the constructive role is naturally inexpedient

According to the Speaker, for four months the President abstained from involvement of the activity of the State Constitutional Commission, under hereof conditions any conversations about the constructive role is naturally inexpedient, as he responded to the questions about the negotiations with the Presidential Administration regarding the Constitution. 

Participation or non-participation is not the ultimate goal, he stated. “As to the negotiations, our goal is not participation in the consultations. When the President refused to participate in the Commission activity for 4  months, it is impossible to outline his positive role. It is his choice. He abstained from participation in the Constitutional Commission activity for 4 months and now it is inexpedient to speak about constructive role”.
