The meeting of the Speaker with PACE Secretary General
“We have an ambitious goal envisaging transition from the monitoring to the post-monitoring stage”, - the Speaker stated after the meeting with PACE Secretary General, Wojciech Sawicki in Strasbourg.
The parties discussed cooperation between Georgian Parliament and PACE, considered ongoing and scheduled democratic reforms in Georgia and touched upon the Constitutional reform.
“We spoke about cooperation between Georgian Parliament and PACE and considered ongoing and scheduled democratic reforms in Georgia. We emphasized the Constitutional reform and other implemented reforms”, - Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
Georgia actively strives to move from the monitoring to the post-monitoring stage. “We have an ambitious goal related to our cooperation with CoE and envisaging transition from the monitoring to the post-monitoring stage. We will take all necessary measures and all the reforms we implement serve to this goal”.
The Speaker heading the Parliamentary Delegation serves the visit to Strasbourg. The Delegation is composed of: Tamar Khulordava, Nino Goguadze, Dimitri Tskitishvili, Enzel Mkoyan, Zurab Chiaberashvili, Roman Gotsiridze, Giorgi Kandelaki, Giorgi Mosidze and Giorgi Lomia.
